HYBRID CLOUDS COME OF AGE:

One of the most exciting new technologies to evolve from the Internet, intranets and extranets is cloud computing. Business enterprises are now beginning to implement the concept despite initial concerns. With cloud computing databases, applications, and services can be accessed and shared by researchers and strategic partners across multiple platforms.

Earlier this week, Swiss programmer Ruben Unteregger who has been reportedly working for a Swiss company ERA IT Solutions responsible for coding government sponsored spyware, has released the source code of a trojan horse that injects code into the Skype process in order to convert the incoming and outgoing voice data into an encrypted MP3 available at the disposal of the attacker.

A scientist of Indian origin has created a new supercomputer, called Cystorm, which can carry out 28.16 trillion calculations per second.

It's been an exciting nine months since we launched the Google Chrome browser. Already, over 30 million people use it regularly. We designed Google Chrome for people who live on the web — searching for information, checking email, catching up on the news, shopping or just staying in touch with friends. However, the operating systems that browsers run on were designed in an era where there was no web. So today, we're announcing a new project that's a natural extension of Google Chrome — the Google Chrome Operating System. It's our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.

Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010. Because we're already talking to partners about the project, and we'll soon be working with the open source community, we wanted to share our vision now so everyone understands what we are trying to achieve.

Today, Techies Solutions declared finally about starting Linux support on Techiesbox.

Mr. Akbar Khan (Chief Business Development Officer) said, "We are now expanding towards huge and fast growing community of open source. And the Linux is one of the best startup. We also added new Team "Li-Tech" which stands for Linux Techies now works for Linux support. This team is directly leading under Mr. Zed Williams (Chief IT Manager) who planned for this new implementation of jumping onto the wast open source platform".

Techiesbox.com was previously known for its reliable and fastest tech support on Microsoft based Operating systems and Applications, and now they are also including Linux support on most popular and different flavors of RHEL and DEBIAN Kernels. They are first planing to start with simple OS(s) like RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Mint-OS, SUSE, Fedora and other flavors will be added soon in future.

Keyboard shortcuts are a mainstay for most Word users who are trying to streamline their work. Even brand-new users start slinging around Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V soon after mastering the intricacies of scrolling. But keyboard shortcuts are often nonintuitive and hard to remember. (What mnemonic would you use to recall that Ctrl+E centers document text or that Ctrl+T produces a hanging indent?)

That’s where mouse shortcuts — the unsung hero of built-in functionality — can take up the slack. Users probably know the basic moves: Right-click on an item to display a shortcut menu, double-click to select a word, triple-click to select a paragraph. But Word has quite a few additional mouse tricks up its sleeve. This overview will help you (and your users) learn some easily remembered techniques to gain quick access to a host of Word options.

In the article below I would like to bring to your attention some points which I have come across during my research.

Employee Rights

Introduction

Employee rights are any rights which refer to the status of being an employee. These rights may be moral or legal. These rights include some of the professional rights such as the right to disobey the unethical instructions and the rights to express their dissatisfaction on the company policies without any bad effects from the employer side. It also implies all the basic human rights which are reasonable to the employment situation such as the right of not to be discriminated against.

Back in the days of Windows NT, the roaming profile was all the rage. A user could go to the office and work at his own computer, using the network, e-mail, files, and other resources. If, for some reason, that user has to switch to another workstation temporarily, he logs on to a different computer and Windows downloads the settings for his individual profile; just as if he were sitting at his own computer.
